In order to capture outlaws in the Old West people would
post WANTED! posters around towns. The posters promised a reward for the
capture of the outlaw mentioned. A picture of the outlaw was sometimes
placed on the WANTED! ad. A "bounty hunter" would go after the
outlaw mentioned in the WANTED! ad in hopes of getting the reward.
